Dear Residents

Humshaugh Carbon Footprint Survey

Newcastle University in collaboration with our Parish Council and Northumberland County Council are undertaking a survey to estimate the current carbon footprint of our community.  The survey asks questions about your home, home energy use, and travel and transport, in order to work out how much carbon dioxide (CO2) the Parish emits.  The information that you provide will be kept strictly confidential and data on individual properties will not be published.

If you are a resident of Humshaugh Parish, could you please spend a few minutes within the next few days completing the online survey for your household.  By doing so you will make an important contribution towards a strategy to reduce CO2 emissions, which might even save you money in the future!  In addition, the results will inform a credible Humshaugh Carbon Reduction Strategy and help to secure funding for related investments in the Parish.

To access the survey please follow this link https://forms.ncl.ac.uk/view.php?id=7886266

If you have any questions or need any help, please contact:

Lastly, please feel free to pass information about the survey to any friends and neighbours who live in the Humshaugh Parish, and who you think might be interested.

Thanks very much in advance for your help and support
